App-Bridge - Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how MultiTech Visions ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with your use of the App-Bridge Chrome Extension ("Extension"). We are committed to being transparent about what data is accessed, how it is used, and where it goes.

1. Data We Access

The Extension accesses the following data solely to perform its core function:

  • AppSheet app schema — including tables, columns, views, slices, actions, format rules, and automations. This data is read directly from the AppSheet editor or app page you are actively viewing in your browser.

  • Browser tab information — the Extension checks whether an Appster Chat tab is currently open in order to display live connection status in the popup. No tab content, URLs, or browsing history is recorded or transmitted.

  • AI provider API key — if you use the built-in LLM Help feature, you may enter an API key for OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. This key is stored locally in Chrome's storage on your device.

  • User preferences — settings such as your selected AI provider, model, language preference, and theme are stored locally in Chrome's storage.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

  • Personally identifiable information (name, email address, phone number, etc.)

  • Your AppSheet app schema or data on our servers

  • Your API keys

  • Your browsing history or activity outside of AppSheet and Appster Chat pages

  • Financial or payment information

  • Health information

3. How Data Is Used

All data accessed by the Extension is used exclusively for its single purpose: bridging your AppSheet editor schema to Appster Chat so the AI assistant can provide accurate, context-aware help.

Specifically:

  • Your app schema is stored in Chrome's local storage on your device and passed via browser messaging to the Appster Chat tab you have open. It does not leave your browser to MultiTech Visions servers.

  • Your API key is sent directly to the third-party AI provider you select (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) when you use the LLM Help feature. It is not sent to MultiTech Visions.

  • Tab information is read in real-time to display connection status and is not logged or stored.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, except as follows:

  • Third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google): If you use the LLM Help feature, your API key and the schema content you query are sent to the provider you selected. This is done directly from your browser. Their privacy policies govern how they handle that data.

  • AppSheet (Google): The Extension reads data from AppSheet pages you are already logged into. We do not interact with AppSheet's API on your behalf or transmit data to AppSheet.

We do not transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the Extension's single purpose, and we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

5. Data Storage and Retention

All Extension data — including your extracted schema, API key, and preferences — is stored in Chrome's local storage on your device. This data persists until you clear it via the Extension, clear your browser storage, or uninstall the Extension.

MultiTech Visions does not maintain any servers or databases that store your Extension data.

6. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the Extension, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
