These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the App-Bridge Chrome Extension ("Extension") provided by MultiTech Visions ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

1. Description of the Extension

App-Bridge is a Chrome browser extension that connects the AppSheet editor to Appster Chat, a purpose-built AI assistant for AppSheet developers offered by MultiTech Visions. The Extension reads your AppSheet app's schema (tables, columns, views, automations, and related configuration) from the AppSheet editor page and makes it available to the Appster Chat interface in real-time.

The Extension also includes a built-in LLM Help feature that allows you to query your extracted schema using an AI provider of your choice (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) using your own API key.

2. Eligibility and Access

Full bridge functionality — connecting the Extension to Appster Chat — requires an active Appster Chat subscription from MultiTech Visions. The built-in LLM Help feature requires a valid API key from a supported third-party AI provider.

By using the Extension, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms.

3. License

MultiTech Visions grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension solely for your personal or business use in connection with AppSheet and Appster Chat. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Extension without our express written consent.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your API keys and Appster Chat credentials secure.

• Ensuring your use of the Extension complies with AppSheet's terms of service and any applicable third-party AI provider terms.

• The content and data within your AppSheet apps. We do not review or take responsibility for your app data.

• Any costs incurred from third-party AI providers as a result of using the built-in LLM Help feature.

5. Data and Privacy

The Extension reads your AppSheet app schema locally within your browser. Schema data is stored in Chrome's local storage on your device and is shared only with the Appster Chat tab you have open. It is not transmitted to MultiTech Visions servers.

API keys you enter are stored locally in Chrome and are sent only to the AI provider you select. MultiTech Visions does not receive or store your API keys.

6. Third-Party Services

The Extension interacts with third-party services including AppSheet (Google), and optionally OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google AI. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. MultiTech Visions is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE EXTENSION WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR COMPATIBLE WITH ALL VERSIONS OF CHROME OR APPSHEET.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MULTITECH VISIONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE EXTENSION, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE EXTENSION SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR APPSTER CHAT SUBSCRIPTION IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Modifications to the Extension or Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this document when changes are made.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your license to use the Extension ends immediately. Sections 4, 7, 8, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Illinois.
